Mark! The Herald Angels Sing
Caringbah’s own Mark Vincent will be returning to the Woolworths Carols in the Domain stage for the fourth time in 2012.
The impressive tenor, who first graced the Carols stage at the age of 16, has become a crowd favourite at Australia’s largest free public event and says that he is excited to help celebrate its 30th Anniversary this year.
Last year, Mark brought the house down with his rendition of ‘The Holy City (Jerusalem)’ and will once again be wowing the audience with this powerhouse performance.
“Performing at Woolworths Carols in the Domain has become an important Christmas tradition for me and my family and I’m honoured to be a part of the 30th Anniversary celebrations,” said Mark.
“The feeling you get when standing on that stage and looking out to a sea of 50,000 carol goers is indescribable, especially when you know that they’re all singing along with you.
“That’s what I love about Woolworths Carols in the Domain, there’s something warming about the fact that thousands of families across the country are joining in with you to spread the Christmas spirit,” added Mark.
Mark will be joined by a star studded line up with Samantha Jade, The Wiggles, The Collective, Justice Crew, Johnny Ruffo, Georgie Parker, Jay Laga’aia, Rachael Beck, Ali McGregor, John Waters, Troy Cassar-Daley, Doug Parkinson and The Ten Tenors as well as the cast of Legally Blonde The Musical all set to hit the stage.
For those who are unable to catch the action live at Woolworths Carols in the Domain, the Seven Network will broadcast the event live from 8:30pm.
Woolworths Carols in the Domain is proudly presented by Air Wick and will be staged on Saturday 22 December at The Domain, Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney.
