As Australia's largest free public event, Saturday's Woolworths Carols in the Domain is expected to draw a crowd of over 50,000 people. To ensure carol goers remain safe and secure, organisers have released helpful tips for those planning on attending.
"The most important message is to plan ahead - give yourself plenty of time to travel to the venue and secure your position on the lawn," said Shauna Kane, Co-Executive Producer of Woolworths Carols in the Domain.
"There are a number of activities scheduled throughout the day, with the event carnival commencing at midday and pre-show entertainment set to kick off at 3pm, so there's loads to do if you arrive early," she continued.
Salvation Army Ambassador Stan Walker is ready to rock the stage this Christmas for Woolworths Carols in the Domain.
2013 has marked a big year for Stan, who toured with Beyoncé, became a judge on The X-Factor New Zealand and made his acting debut in the hit New Zealand film Mt Zion, for which his performance earned him a nomination for Best New Zealand Actor.
"This has been a massive year for me," Stan said, "and I reckon performing at Carols will be the perfect way to end 2013."

Grease the Musical and Strictly Ballroom the Musical are the latest acts to be announced on the line up of this year's event, which is set to be bigger than ever before.

Mark Vincent will be returning to the Woolworths Carols in the Domain stage for an impressive fifth time this Christmas.
